Founded by Rene Delgado and Teddy Olaso, is one of Canada’s leading Latin dance schools in providing exceptional and innovative dance and teaching methods. Their performance group has performed at many Salsa congresses around the world.

Siboney Dance Company was founded at the end of 2009 by Del Dominguez and Laura
Flores, with the intent to form a team of dancers with strong technical skills,
along with a sophisticated and elegant style.

Siboney Dance Company is a New York Style (Mambo on 2) dance company that
incorporates jazz and ballroom influence into choreography. Siboney Dance Company has performed at
numerous shows and festivals throughout the Chicago-land area, as well as in several salsa congresses
including the 2010 Latin Street Salsa Festival in Chicago and the 2010 St. Louis Salsa Congress in St. Louis.

Starlite Dance Studio is home to several talented dance teams - one of which is The Sweethearts. The Sweethearts is an all female dance group comprised of 9 girls ranging in age from 11-18. Originally, David Melendez created the Sweethearts for the purpose of doing one routine – but through perseverance and hard work they’ve made a name for themselves in the mambo scene. Lettie, Theresa, Christina, Heather, Venus, Erika, Walnette, Michelle and Danielle have a passion for dance that pushes them to work hard to accomplish their goals, both in dance and in their education. These girls work well together and their style and energy light up the stages they dance on. The personal bond they share is evident in their performances. Their talent and hard work has truly made them an exceptional team. These girls are true Sweethearts, inside and out.

Back in 1999, David Melendez came back from an event saying that he needs a team that would represent him and the Starlite Dance Studio. He always liked the idea of the boy bands and decided to create a dance team that was made up of teenage boys. Six (6) boys were picked and David started working with them and introduced them to the dance world in March of 2000. From the beginning they were a big hit and David instilled in them how to act and be in front of the all adult crowd. Those original boys have moved on to become productive citizens and positive influence to many at the same time being gentlemen at all times..

DJ -E- is Inikori Dance Studio's resident Latin music DJ, playing the sweet sounds of classic Salsa, Mambo, Cha Cha, Merengue, Bachata, and more, every Sunday at our well attended dance social. You would also find -E- spinning at all our monthly Latin parties and special functions. Today, -E-is the Latin dancers favorite DJ in the Rochester NY area!

Born in the Dominican Republic, DJ Nilson Diaz Gomez arrived in Canada 1998 and brought with him just a few salsa records, cds, and a deep love and passion for the flavour of the music and dance. Being a professional dancer in Puerto Plata, he also had a strong feel for the unique and 'danceable’ rhythms the music had to offer. It was that same love and passion for salsa that spawned his professional DJ career in Toronto, 2001. Today, DJ Nilson's rare and beautiful salsa music collection consists of over 4000 Vintage Lps and Cds! His favourite styles are New York and Puerto Rican, both new and old school, Boogaloo, Latin Soul and Latin Jazz.
