CHOREOGRAPHY
& STAGE PERFORMANCE (short
piece) - Taught
by: Descarga Caribe
THIS
IS GOING TO BE A VERY FUN
CLASS!
IF YOU ARE NOT ON MY DANCE
TEAM I RECOMMEND YOU TAKE
THIS!
Dance team members may also
take this course.
Description:
Have
you ever thought of what it
would be like to dance in
a dance company and work on
an actual planned choreography,
to a particular song, and
having your movements groomed
for stage presentation? This
class gives you just that.
You would work on a mini choreography
that will include an entrance,
partnering sections, ladies
solo, gentlemen’s solo,
a couple of dips and a grand
ending. You would work on
adding style and facial expressions
to make it look as real as
it can be. At the end of the
class we will have a mock
performance where it will
all come together.
First
hour, you would learn the
routine. Second hour, the
instructors will work with
you on polishing the routine
giving each student in the
class some degree of personal
attention to help you develop
the movements and your dancing
(mini private lesson). |
