Our program in Latin dance aims to develop our students in their understanding of the specific Latin dance forms of Salsa, Cha Cha, Mambo, Merengue, and Bachata, as well as grow their technique in dance in the areas of posture, partnering, motion, turning/spinning, movement, and styling.

	Stating week of June 16 - 22 16 weeks! Students of similar skill levels will be in the same class.

What is a choreography and performance class?
Why should you participate in a choreography and performance class?

Our choreography and performance class is a great way to get instruction in essentially all the aspects of dance, from the figures and steps of the particular dances that make up the choreographed piece, to elements of dance technique, to understanding movement, styling, expression, and more. Of course you are not going to learn all that there is to know about all these, but you will get small pieces in all aspects helping you develop a more rounded understanding and ability in dance. This does not take the place of learning a particular dance, or getting training in dance technique, or styling, or any other focus area, but it is a good addition.

Other reasons you should consider joining our choreography and performance classes are:

CLASSES THAT WILL BE OFFERED
All ladies class (Maximum of 8 ladies)
All guys class (Maximum of 8 guys)
Mixed Guys and ladies class (Maximum of 5 couples)
Young at Heart (Age 50+, or by choice, maximum 6 couples)
We will be constituting classes as listed above, placing well matched students in the same class of their choice.

* You may join more than one class if you so choose.
* Beginners are encouraged to join! (If there are many beginners interested, we will create a class just for you, to give you the best learning).



Class Period: Starts week of June 16 - 22
Duration: 16 weeks
Class length: 1.5 hours
Number of classes per week: 1 (with make-ups as needed. Day/time of class will be set to suit students)
Cost: $360 per student
Costumes: Please budget up to $150 (especially for the girls)
