SALSA BEGINNER 2: Beginner Moves, Figures, and Styling

Description: This class introduces you to several partnering figures in Salsa. In this class we teach partner turn combinations that utilize these figures, and ladies' and men's styling to go with them.

Prior experience necessary.
No partner needed.

Start any week! We have multiple instructors in the class.

Class length: 50 mins

Prerequisite: Salsa Beginner 1

Criteria for graduating this level: The goals of this level are:

1. Gain knowledge in the partnering figures taught.
2. Develop the ability to dance, performing short turn combinations utilizing these partnering figures.
3. Develop a repertoire of 6 to 12 turn combinations.

Recommendations:
1. If you haven't taken our Essential Dance Techniques1 course, take it along with this class if you can. Otherwise take it as soon as possible.
2. If you've taken Essential Dance Techniques 1, next technique class to take is Spin/Turn Techniques 1. Take that along with this class, or at your earliest opportunity.
3. Be sure to come out dancing - Review Sessions and Dance Socials.
4. Please note that having some developed ability in fundamental dance techniques and turning/spinning are prerequisites for graduating into Intermediate 1.
